![]() Though this is the fault of myself and the make up artist at the MAC store for recommending this colour to me and it was not until I applied it at home that I realised it was too dark. The colour is a bit too dark for my skintone and makes my skin look a bit orange, which was not the look I was going for. The only major problem I have with the foundation is that I use NW15, which is the second lightest colour MAC produce. The foundation also contains SPF 15, which will protect you from UVA and UVB rays in sunlight. ![]() I therefore suggest using a sponge if you are seeking light coverage or a daytime look and using a foundation brush for medium coverage or if you are going out of a night. Yet I have found from experience that applying the foundation with a make up sponge means the foundation lasts for a good 6 hours. The website claims that the foundation lasts for 8 hours and I would agree with this IF you are applying it with a foundation brush. The foundation also lightly moisturises my face and neck and this is due to skin conditioning ingredients. ![]() This therefore means I don’t have to apply lots of concealer to my skin and the areas I only need to conceal are any spots on my face. Furthermore, the foundation easily covers the red patches on my cheeks, nose and forehead and provides me with a good colour for my skin. The foundation is quite thick so you will only need a small amount and applies smoothly and evenly when applied with a foundation brush.
